Trump had 3 different campaign managers over the course of his campaign. Everybody shouted the Trump Train is Derailing, but it just kept rolling stronger & faster. Trump doesn’t tolerate stupid & isn’t afraid to say Your Fired.
He knows what he is doing & I wouldn’t be surprised to see shake ups at any point during his Presidency. The man has built a worldwide empire.
One minute he is a bubbling idiot & the next his business holdings are so vast, he can’t unravel them & will cause conflicts of interest during his tenure.
The only fools are those who underestimate him and don’t take him seriously.
Great news. Woolsey is a hardcore neocon whose ideas are out of step with the platform Trump ran on.
Neoncon warmongers OUT. We don’t need another Cold War to fund your lobby clients. Build an Israeli’style fence or wall. Put troops on the BORDER. Defend our homeland. Kick out visa overstayers and criminal illegals. Deny visas to any country that won’t take their criminal nationals back...even U.N. diplomats. AMERICA FIRST.
Good. His democrat credential just ran out of steam.
A Clinton guy. Intelligence under Clinton went to far south that 9-11 actually took them by surprise.
Not sure why Trump picked him and would be interested in hearing the difference between Woolsey’s and Trump’s vision for intelligence, but I have a feeling Trump’s is closer to what we need - hopefully more like Reagan’s vision - sharp and effective.
Of course The WP is manipulating the reasons, you can be sure.
This is probably why he’s leaving. I’d fire him for this.
“In response to host Jim Sciuttos questions about what Trump knows that intelligence agencies and Congress dont, former CIA head James Woolsey explained that hacking leaves room for weaving around like this. Sciutto asked, Youre saying he is weaving around by talking about this putative information?
Woolsey explained that by doing this, Trump generates new headlines like he did during the campaign, Sciutto wanted to know if he was saying Trump was playing us.
There is a possibility that he is a little bit, yes, a smiling Woolsey answered.
A somewhat shocked Sciutto questioned the ex-CIA head, Is that something a president-elect should be doing on a serious issue of national security?
Love it!
Woolsey’s little game did not work.
Trump tweeted this was FAKE. Woolsey was part of the campaign, never part of transition team. WaPo at it again!
My gut tells me Woolsey is to compromised to help with any of the swamp draining.
Oh my, a bureaucrat QUIT? I’ve got vapors!
Good. He should not have been there in the first place IMHO.
YOU PEOPLE ARE GOING TO BE ENEMIES WITH RUSSIA FOR ANOTHER 200 YEARS WETHER YOU LIKE IT OR NOT!!!!
Could they be any more obvious?
He served his purpose... Fire his a$$!
Yawn, who cares how many elitist puppets choose to join or leave Trump, who should care?.....(the enemy within is far deadlier than the one outside, anyway)
He no doubt was asked to resign. He is a liberal to the nth degree.

John McCain hired Woolsey as an advisor on energy and climate change issues for his 2008 U.S. Presidential election campaign.[14]
In April 2011, Lux Capital announced that Woolsey would become a venture partner in the firm.[1
Seems to me that Trump likely detected he was a Soros plant .
Treason is heavily ingrained in our government that even 0bamas departure won’t solve everything
Bah Bye !
