That ends Sears. Not kidding. That and Kenmore are their two primary brands. One gone, the other struggling.

What they have done is the equivalent of selling a kidney to make the mortgage payment.

I agree. So I checked Sear's stock price to see what kind of hit it's taking today. The stock is UP around 6% as of my post. Crazy.

I agree. I was actually talking about this stuff at work about 2 weeks ago.

I mentioned how we used to get everything at sears except for food.

Camping hunting fishibg tools clothes kitchen appliances washers dryers....you could get your home auto and life insurance in their stores (allstate did the home and auto) and even music lessons and of course family pictures.

Now the only things left wirth shopping Sears for are being sold off.

Yep. They should focus on those two brands and let other inventory go. Ultimately it is an image problem IMO that Sears is struggling with. If Sears can't find a way to get young people into their store they are screwed.

I wondered how long it would take...

They’re selling off the real estate.
Now the best brands.

I had a Kenmore fridge for 15 years. Great fridge.

I was in a stand-alone Sears for the first time in 2-3 years on Sunday. With all sincerity I have been to livelier wakes. It smelled old, half the racks were empty and the employees looked like they had just seen the iceberg. It was depressing. We left without purchasing anything because they simply didn’t have anything of interest.
