Symone Sanders: “Trump Supporter Beaten In Chicago Got What White People Deserve For Centuries Of Black Slavery”

Tonight, CNN’s Don Lemon gathered a panel to discuss the story of a disturbing Facebook Live video out of Chicago in which a group of young black adults broadcast their torture of a young white mentally disabled man. While holding their victim hostage, they cut his scalp, burned him with cigarettes and kicked him, all while shouting “f*ck Donald Trump! F*ck white people!”
At the beginning of the conversation, Lemon turned to CNN political commentator and Democratic strategist Symone Sanders. Stating that he can’t say it’s a hate crime because police are still investigating, he asked the former Bernie Sanders campaign spox her thoughts.
After calling it “sickening,” Sanders gave the following observation: “But I’m gonna say something that’s probably not very popular — we cannot callously go about classifying things as a hate crime.”
After wondering if it were hate for Trump or white people, she expanded on he point. “If we start going around and anytime someone says or does something egregious or bad and sickening in sense,” she noted. “In connection with the president-elect Donald Trump or even President Obama for that matter because of their political leanings, that’s slippery territory. That is not a hate crime.”
Fellow panelist Alice Stewart was next to weigh in and while agreeing with Sanders the crime was “sickening,” she also said that she “hoped it was classified” as a hate crime.
Later on in the discussion, Sanders would argue that much of the rhetoric of the presidential election may have had an impact on the attackers and other troubled young people, which would draw some condemnation from Lemon himself who explained that they probably don’t even watch the news.
If Sanders seems familiar, it’s probably because you remember her mockingly exclaiming “Oh my goodness, poor white people” during an on-air conversation about a Trump supporter beaten by a mob. She’s also said the Democratic Party doesn’t “need white people leading” it right now and the election of Trump put “white supremacy into the White House.”

Not sure if true but just saw on BLM twitter that they will be charged with simple battery.
A crime is a crime. Determining hate is redundant.
The new Attorney General needs to prosecute this as a federal hate crime.
Switch colors and think what would happen. There would be protests and riots in the street. Everybody knows it!
Amazed that CNN even covered it.
Leftist (especially white) people need to wake up. the future peace of the country depends on showing outrage over this.
By refusing to call this a "hate crime" when they have generally been the side DEMANDING hate crime legislation, they are excusing the perpetrators on the basis of their ethnicity. Which is as travesty of justice as there is apt to be.

For sure, by now, everyone ought to know that it is impossible for black people to hate, and therefore can NOT perform hate crimes. Just one of the truths that has been repeated, again and again, that we all believe, except a few people of lighter pigment that don´t understand.

FBI Director Comey just added another dimension to this issue by adding the element of “intent” to a crime ( or felony ).
So, Hillary should not be charged because she never INTENDED for her emails to be exposed to our enemies.
With this, one can simply say, we just wanted to torture him for fun, we never had any “hate” in our hearts...

However, if there is to be such designation, this is certainly one.

One of the most under-reported things of the whole incident is another tweet. Where he wanted to "Gulag" people for the incident on a plane with a Muslim.

I bring this up because him and these "Youths" are microcosms of the american and worldwide left.

Calling the Chicago authorities “smart and intelligent” is not something you would normally hear. This is just another example of their total lack of brains.

Hate crime is simply thought crime. Not sure if the designation is ever applied accurately.
Some white people should get together and film a FAKE video of 4 white people doing this to a black person...

Apparently this group of attackers has done this before. Looks like a pattern of hate to me.
Even Saturday Night Live would see it as a hate crime.
