It’s so cute when Ryan pretends he is in charge.
Ryan Rerranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, instead of real reform. Paul Ryan needs to be G O N E, like 2016.
'A distinction without a difference' comes to mind.
Tax reform and lower taxes without tariffs means the same equation remains. Mexico will still have cheaper labor and a cost advantage to use against US manufacturers. The incentive to seek that advantage will remain. Their product will still be cheaper.
If the lying weasel admits to half it was much more than that. Trump will keep squeezing Ryan till he squeals.
Trump will crush Ryan if Ryan challenges Trump.
Tariffs are to prevent the unfair advantage that accords to foreign nations that export to the US, when they either manipulate the currency, giving themselves a favorable rate of exchange at the expense of the dollar, or there is a subsidy paid for the exported goods, usually in the form of rebated VAT taxes collected from within that country.
This twerp needs to be crushed.
Trump could be using Ryan to get his way. Ryan could acting as Trump’s cats paw.
Ryan looks too much like Eddie Munster to be taken seriously.
There are a lot more consumers of a product than there are manufacturers.
We need a speaker that supports Trump. There’s a lot of work to do, and this doesn’t help.
Ryan is protecting his source of ridiculous wealth.
Serf wages is an unfair advantage. We reject serfdom as immoral. We shouldn’t reward our own companies for taking advantage of it. If time travel were possible would we smile at those who used southern ante-bellum slavery for a wage advantage?
>> exempting exports from tax and subjecting imports<<

WHAT??
GO TO WAR WITH A WEAPON THAT CANNOT BE AIMED??
No. No. No. No. No.
Fine.
Trump now has his first battle, laid out.
He will win, and quick. Ryan was an idiot, to stand on this hill.
Ryan’s been in Congress since `99 running us into the ground.
Get rid of him.
Ryan is about to find out about Real Men in charge
Trump tweets ... his followers (some of them local contributors and well connected to the party at large)hear ... they start calling Congressional offices raising Holy Hell ... Congressman announces “I changed my mind because no one had explained the issue to me so clearly before” (old business guys joke).
