"Mexico loses thousands of jobs with no word on a clear strategy for confronting the next U.S. government which has presented itself as protectionist and, especially, anti-Mexican," the paper wrote. "Trump will try to recover as many U.S. companies that have set up in Mexico as possible. He will try to make them return at whatever cost, through threats or using public resources."
"Ford's decision is indicative of what awaits the economies of both countries," the daily La Jornada said. "For ours a severe decrease in investment from our neighboring country, and for the U.S. a notable increase in their production costs."
Hope said more decisions like Ford's are likely to come. And while the loss of a single planned plant probably does not fundamentally change the U.S.-Mexico economic relationship, "it certainly shows that the idea that the status quo was entrenched was false."
"This should put us on notice that when he says that he wants to renegotiate NAFTA, he means it," Hope said.

Obama created only burger flipper jobs you liberal.if you think that is not a problem then you are a moron.
As we get used to winning, the grifters need to get used to losing.
Or actually becoming self sufficient.
Obama created only burger flipper and restaurant jobs you liberal.if you think that is not a problem then you are a moron.
Amen. Here you go Mexico:
They are still doing it.
Do you own a bunch of lettuce fields and car washes in California and New Mexico?
In 1840 we should have executed their government officials when we had them in our custody, and annexed the entirety of Mexico.
As usual.. the pacifists were wrong.
There are millions of problems, but one reason that dictatorial tyrants like Obama came into power is morons like you ignore the single most important political problem of our time: the need to reinstate the Constitution as the Law of the Land against the feds by dismantling the 70%-80% unconstitutional portion of the feds.
Good evening.
Hope you are doing well.
Muy bien. You did very good.

Well if your concern is more about whether I own a bunch of lettuce fields and car washes in California and New Mexico than with reinstating the Constitution as the Law of the Land against the feds, then you are part of the problem.
Mexican business leaders & other local leaders approached Winfield Scott at the close of the Mexican War when he was CIC of the army occupying Mexico City. He declined for the US, they then tried to persuade him to leave the US Army and become the head of the Mexican government. He declined that also.
You are right. We can not allow ourselves to become like “obamazombies”.
In this instance, though, I don't think anything unconstitutional occurred. :)
How have I misstated what is unconstitutional and tyranny?
Yes, as I said, I dont know of any unconstitutional federal acts contemplated under Trump yet. But as I also said, the absence of a dialogue about this is a concern because the Right has a nasty habit of turning a blind eye to GOP Presidents launching unconstitutional federal acts. The potential should be addressed and the American People must be vigilant. That is the reason I posted this.
No moron Trump is doing exactly what is need to grow the U.S. economy and our civilization .so go learn something get clue and then jump in a lake . Cause you are worth nothing.

I'm grateful you did. At this moment, I am enamored by Trump, but I do not wish to be blinded by his administration.
We need to keep watch over our fellow FReepers. :)
You don’t know what you’re talking about. Quit posting to me since you have no clue what I’m talking about.
Mexico needs to hustle up to Trump Tower and attempt to make a deal to pay to get that Wall to be built forthwith in exchange for some favorable tax treatment for businesses located in Mexico.
