How many times have you heard someone say, "If your God sends my homosexual brother to hell, then I don't want any part of your God." The homosexual sends themselves to hell, Not God. We were ALL going to Hell before Jesus came. We MUST be watchful that we don't fall for false doctrine disguised as "Christ Like" doctrine. If a sodomite refuses to surrender to God, then they pronounce sentence on themselves. The Scriptures state that we will be judged by "The Word" of God. Since Scripture represents Jesus,( John 1:1) then we can use Scripture for teaching, reproof, and correction. God changeth not, ergo Scripture doesn't change.
If you claim to follow Christ and make up some false doctrine, you have taken the Lord's name in vain. If my wife goes to the beer joint with another man and still calls herself my wife, she is soiling my name she took at our marriage. You can't worship a false god and call yourself Christian. God clearly stated that sodomy is an abomination and abortion is murder. Without repentance, you will be before your Lord and He will say, "I never knew you". Don't allow your emotions to lie to you and say this is what Jesus would do when He clearly stated He wouldn't. The god you are worshiping if you believe God changed His mind on Sodom and Gomorrah doesn't exist.
Just as a further example of this, many churches in Europe are now reading Koranic verses in their "Christian" churches. They are discussing what Islamic verses will be read at "King Charles" coronation in England. This is calling evil, good; and good, evil. Isa 4:1 speaks about 7 women( the churches in Rev 2-3) that eat their own food( make up their own doctrine) and wear their own garments( self righteousness), but they want to be called Christians( as opposed to Satan worshipers) to avoid reproach.
