The Aussies told the truth about Islam, right?
Would not surprise me if something about Islam is at the base of this, but I don’t actually know.
Actually, no; the alleged Aussie documents were said to be demeaning to Pancasila, which is the founding philosophy of the unitary state of Indonesia, consisting of five distinct pillars, one of which is freedom of religion. Islam is not mentioned in the Pancasila. It is the islamists who are trying to destroy Pancasila.
Nevertheless, a stupid move by Indonesia, and I cannot imagine what the Aussie materials had to say about Pancasila that could get the Indons’ knickers so in a twist.
