I went to a restaurant in western Wisconsin and they came to our table with a card swipe machine and on the screen my only options was to tip either 20%, 25% or 30%. If you try and pay in cash they make you select on the screen the same and make change for you at the table while printing the receipt.
No option for no tip......which is what they deserved.
You need to go to TripAdvisor and write a review.
Any restaurant that allows only a 20% or more tip needs to be reviewed there. Potential customers would like to know.
That is unbelievable-I’m a server and the restaurant doesn’t have automatic gratuity on any sized party. And the amount of the tip, if any, is left entirely to the customer.
I would be embarrassed to work somewhere with that in place.
Yelp them out of existence.
