Venezuelan Jews are making aliyah. Destitute Jews are beginning a new life, thanks to the state's generous basket of benefits to help them adjust to their new home in Israel. They will show their gratitude to the great nation of Israel by learning Hebrew and their young will carry arms in the defense of their new and wonderful nation.
I lived in Venezuela in the 70s. It was a wonderful nation then but with many faults. It will recover at a great price to its people. It will be violent, very violent. Much blood will be shed.

A pal from the 90’s took an assignment to Ven to overhaul a very profitable fertilizer plant. He and his wife lived just outside the city and were arrested, then released for “crimes.”
Their oil company employer sent a biz jet to a nearby airport without notice.
They left all their possessions but saved their lives.
