Democratic senators plan to aggressively target eight of Donald Trump's Cabinet nominees in the coming weeks and are pushing to stretch their confirmation votes into March

Do they even have the power to do this ? Turtle neck is the one who controls when a vote comes to the floor and the committee chairmen determine how long the hearings will be. If the democrats don't like it, they can boycott the hearings. In that case, who cares ( besides the MSM )

What the demoncraps do is irrelevant. It all comes down to the GOP.

Time to light a fire under the political scum with calls, letters and emails.

I’m hoping they might listen to us at least a bit.

Nominees go through a Committee.
Like the Senate, committees are closely divided by Party and a RINO can keep the nomination in committee by siding with the Dems- and get a lot of great media coverage for doing so.

I don’t think the Turtle would punish anyone for doing that. Maybe the House would cut some of their pork to punish them, it’s a thought anyway.

The dems do have the right to do this. Not all power is in the hands of the majority. For example, the rules state the nominee can have 30 hours of hearings. The dems have said they will have 30 hours of hearings for every nominee. Even if they are conducted 10 hours a day, that is three full days for one nominee. So, it really is time to stop being naïve and think that when Trump speaks it will happen. It's not like that.

Trump will have to fight tooth and nail over everything, especially in the Senate since there is only a two vote margin.

The dems will delay, delay and even do more delaying because that is all they can do.

On major votes, Trump will need 60 Senate votes, so he is going to have to compromise or not see something pass. It is just the way it is.

APPOINT ‘ACTING’ & DO

If Dems are avoidant, then appoint all as ‘acting’ heads. Show up at the office and boot out the old unapproved head.

Do not ask for permission. You have a job to do.

Super majority is not required, only regular Majority to pass any bill per the Constitution.
Filibuster is not Constitutional, only a simple majority, just vote and move forward.

It is not a tiny minority Dem’s nor a Rino executive branch.
Politicians are passive, follower wimps.
Just do.

Public is no action. Private are assertive doers.
