Don’t be naïve. Trump will need McConnell to get things through the senate. McConnell is more important to Trump than Schumer is.
I live in D.C. I am not naive. But this circus has not had a master since Reagan left office. McConnell’s cooperation is what was bought with his wife’s nomination to Transportation.
And McConnell can go along and win big or he can run opposition and lose big. But Mitch is no longer master of his fate.
Hopefully, McConnell will fall in line with Trump. He won’t want to be solely responsible for Elaine Chao being told “YOU’RE FIRED!”
