For six years, since they took back the House of Representatives, Republicans have added to a pile of legislation that moldered outside the White House. In their thwarted agenda, financial regulations were to be unspooled. Business taxes were to be slashed. Planned Parenthood would be stripped of federal funds. The Affordable Care Act was teed up for repeal dozens of times.
When the 115th Congress begins this week, with Republicans firmly in charge of the House and Senate, much of that legislation will form the basis of the most ambitious conservative policy agenda since the 1920s. And rather than a Democratic president standing in the way, a soon-to-be-inaugurated Donald Trump seems ready to sign much of it into law.

Nailed it.
Waiting for the “Were gonna hold their feet to fire, or else crowd to show up”
Lol.
I don’t think we will know what they are passing before they pass it. It sounds more like a Ryan-McConnell agenda than a Trump agenda. I just wonder how much these jackasses are discussing legislation with Trump.
Looking “ ...at the White House less for leadership and more for signing ceremonies...” doesn’t instill much confidence that Congressional leadership is getting Trump’s opinions on legislation.
Sorry to say...just don’t have much trust in Ryan or McConnell. I am guessing/hoping Trump isn’t about to be bamboozled by those two guys.
I wonder how many times Pence will have to cast the tie breaking vote in the Senate to get this done? The likes of McCain come to mind along with his girl friend Linda Graham.
Cannot be stressed enough. This is the best weapon we have against the K-street globalists.
i think c-span has video feeds on their website.
Imagine getting rid of the Consumer protection financial disaster,an agency THAT DOES NOT HAVE TO GO THROUGH CONGRESS FOR ITS FUNDING! It gets whatever it wants! How many people know what a cluster, you know what, that was,Dodd and Frank came up with that beauty,I hope they are serious about getting rid of that boondoggle
When Congress passes a repeal of the ban on ownership of post-’86 full autos, removes the need to get permission from the BATFE to get suppressors, repeals the 1968 GCA and/or the 1934 NFA, THEN I will believe that they have a conservative agenda. Until then, not so much.
Until we get rid of Ryan and McConnell all you are going to get are road blocks. They don’t want change. They want power and money and being heads of committees. McNasty and Graham have to go too.
My belief is that Trump will go around the media and the apparatchiks and speak directly to the American people.
Thank you both for the replies. I sure hope I can see some live fights, but taped delay will work.
“Whatever. Deal with illegals, islam and invalid welfare first.”
Amen.
I’ll believe it when I see it...
