The number of women, black, Asian and Latino officials elected this year reached an all-time high. Activists around the country — young and old, reformers and radicals — are now trying to figure out not only how to fight Trump and Trumpism, but also how to think strategically about building a powerful progressive movement based on action and informed by past and recent activism. Progressives should expect the unexpected, be agile and flexible and invest in rebuilding progressive organizations’ capacity.
So here is my 10-point “to do” list for fighting for working people.
1. Don’t forget: Trump does not have a mandate.

I have to chuckle a little - notice that they want to be heroic revolutionaries AND defend government as a "power for good"? That's sort of a difficult formula to manage, fine for sloganeering, not so much for actually winning elections, disastrous to attempt to run a government under. Intelligent people ponder a setback and alter their approach accordingly. Idiots deny there ever was a setback and double down. I'll leave the reader to decide which category fits.
If they can't see the bias and wacko agenda with THAT outfit, they can't possibly be taken seriously.

Oprah Winfrey is doing a Weight Watchers commercial. What? Couldn’t they find a skinny woman for that? WW isn’t going to be selling much product going forward - apparently it doesn’t work.
