Are the “The Cream of the Crop White House Press Corp.” crew smart enough to deal with Sean Spicer?

The beauty of the founding fathers is they provided a cure for the runaway power of a despot in the form of the election. Not only that, they saw that large cities like New York and Boston could not overpower small towns and communities which would hold all the seats of power so they invented the Electoral College. This gave the farm states a proportional power to ensure them a voice even though they did not have as large a population. This is how the concept of the United States was formed making each state a separate country united under one flag.

And what is never recalled by the inane Left as they seek mob rule is that the states would NOT have ratified the Constitution lest there be an electoral college—meaning, the United States ONLY EXISTS AT ALL because the states were protected by the founders.

Shouldn’t the chronic nay-sayers be lining up at the Canadian border by now??

Unfortunately on # 12 the media knows they still have dupes they can influence drunk or sober. Fortunately America and the free world had the Electoral college.

I think when you consider it, most of us voted for Trump not because we were Trump lovers, but we are Drain The Swamp lovers.

It is something he HAS to do.

If not, we'll move on to whoever does. IF any such exists...

Now I will say this about Trump:
He has far bigger stones than any politician I've ever known of, even Ronald Reagan, who I've been a follower of since the 1976 primaries.

I would be dismayed if Trump didn't try as hard as he can.

I'm not sure anyone we've had can come as close.

It's not a done deal, but I think God has placed him here, now, to see which way we as a country will go--blue pill or red pill?

America chose Trump, now, do we sit back and watch or help him?

Chuck Todd is just finishing a program about media. He’s focusing on “data”. So he calls the predictions of Nate Silver as “data”. Chuck Todd has no clue what “data” is, which is why he has no clue what truth, objectivity and fairness are.

His guests were all big government, pro-establishment, anti-Trump types. No alt-left media. no MRC or Bozell type. No Sheryl Atkins type. And of course, no Matt Drudge type.

Amazing lack of diversity.

I call the retention ponds around in my neighborhood ‘alligator breeding grounds’. I’m glad we are on a lake, but I see gators around, afew weeks ago one was in our backyard.

McCain and Paul Ryan’s races are a lot tougher.

The charge of “war-monger” has been coming our way for decades—back to Barry Goldwater, who I was lucky enough to volunteer for when I was 14. The fact is, NONE of our conservative candidates or luminaries have been anything other than smart people who sought peace through strength, and who only engaged in war grudgingly.

Until McCain came along. The guy is certifiable. Right out of Dr. Strangelove. We would be in a shooting war with a dozen countries right now if it was left up to him. And, of course, he’d be the one to impose Rules of Engagement that make all the conflicts unwinnable.

McCain really makes me sick. Worse than the Demoviks, who are born to idiocy.

Sean Spicer on ABC right now. First time I can remember ever seeing/hearing him. He seems to be far behind Priebus, Gingrich, Conway is matching wits with a 2d rate blatantly Dem moderator.

Face the Nation (2nd half) Liberal pundit Jeffery Goldberg says essentially:"the whole world is watching now. Since 1945 the US has played an important role in the world, and we're not sure that will continue after Jan. 20"

Jeffery....where the hell have you been for 8 years? How can you be so blind ?Have you ever heard of leading from behind ?

Wow, David Frum is apocalyptic. "this is as bad a thing that's ever happened in our lifetimes." David Gerson, just as bad...."constitutional crisis." Even host Dickerson is struck by the negativity. Michelle Norris (Race Card project, formerly NPR iirc) says MAGA means going back to racial inequality.

As depressing as this is, it's oddly delightful to see.

Terriffic graphics,thanks!

...............

On another charge of the Russians hacking, here is the problem with that.

Accusing someone of hacking is like accusing someone of breathing. Sir,Mr.Russia,Mr. China,Mr.Nork,Mr. Israel,Mr. Cuban,Mr. Venezuelan: are you breathing? Yes. Are you hacking the US govt. and a zillion other sites? Yes! It's what we do!!

So accusing some country of hacking the US govt. is a pretty empty charge. Yes they are hacking us or attempting to. Sometimes they get through sometimes they don't! Is it only the Russians, hacking only the US?

Hardly! everyone hacks everyone else, its the way of the world!!! (by the way who are the biggest and the best hackers in the world, can you say: CIA?)Pot yelling at the kettle....

Agree with you 100%!!! Obama is finished politically, forever, as finished and as miserably failed as Mariah Carey’s “broken” song & dance routine last night on New Year’s Eve!!!

Unfortunately, he doesn't realize it, or accept it. And, he has plans, big plans, to continue his fundamental transformation of America. Years ago he established his own non-profit PAC, called Organizing For Action(OFA) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organizing_for_Action as a shell to finance his intent to take community organizing national.

In reality, he intends to use it as the basis for a shadow government to undermine Trump and his agenda, and advance the progressive cause. http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/12/report-obama-setting-shadow-government-undermine-trump-starting-inauguration-day/

Time will tell if he's successful (I think he's in for a rude awakening), but he will cause a lot of trouble, and the media will support him in every way possible.

I like Schiff. He calls them as he sees them. He’s a great patriot.<

A statement that can only be made by someone who joined FR yesterday. Troll alert.

LIttle quesition about who Assange thinks did the hacking.JUst a clue it was not the RUssians!!

First of all, the idea that the CIA “knows” who hacked Podesta is ludicrous. The reason they present no evidence is that they have no idea even if Podesta was hacked in the first place. The CIA is a bloated, blundering bureaucracy that has almost NEVER gotten anything correct.

This is the bureaucracy that COMPLETELY MISSED the demise of the Soviet Union, the existence of Pakistani nukes, etc. etc. etc.

Second, organizations like the KGB do NOT leak information—with an open channel to Podesta, and Clinton leading in every poll, the Russians would have been certain to have unfettered inside access to the next president of the USA.

It is just idiocy to imagine that the Russians would be somehow so enamored of Trump to aid his candidacy and lose one of the best conduits of info they ever had.

If they did have Podesta’s email account, I can assure you they were devastated when someone (likely at DNC) began leaking its content to Wikileaks.

MTP discussion of the media fails to note how Wikileaks documented the close and extensive collusion between the MSM and the DNC. It is one of the most under-reported stories ever.

It is the media itself, in its incessant cheer-leading for the democrats and demonization of the Republicans that has led to the ascendary of the Republicans today.

Shhhhh..... don't let out all the secrets..... .............

Meanwhile we have Donna, blue hair,Brazile (seems she needs more "change") is letting loose every dnc chatting point she can recall. She's trying her best to dump on Trump while she is still relevant, which may not be too long.

It is something he HAS to do.

It will tax your patience.

That federal bureaucracy is as dug in as the Vietcong were in their tunnels. The mantra of the agencies is that they are all politics-proof and will outlast elected officials and appointees.

I’ll never forget the day that Dick Cheney, the SecDef, presented the first post-Cold War DOD budget that sought the so-called “peace dividend” and slashed the Pentagon request.

The caterwauling came from both sides of the aisle and from far and near. When they saw their nearby military installation suddenly targeted for shut-down, or sub-agencies rife with bureaucrat jobs put on the chopping block, well, even the biggest doves in Congress became wild-ass hawks.

The bureaucracy is well-versed in how to sustain itself. It is its ONLY area of true expertise.
