He did a great job with the role. One of my favorite characters.
The whole cast is leaving though but still with us in reruns. A shame the cast did not get syndication income.
My Dad hardly ever sat still to watch TV but he would watch MASH. It was a regular for all of us.
Same with my dad. He was an Army vet during Korea......but was stationed in France during the time. Never heard him laugh unless M*A*S*H was on.
