President Obama used his final weekly address in 2016 to assure Americans that he will remain committed to defending the "progress" made by his administration after handing over the White House to Donald Trump on Jan. 20.

While the president initially indicated that he looked forward to a quiet retirement, at a time when many polls showed Democrat Hillary Clinton marching to victory in the presidential election, Obama has said his plans have changed since Trump ran away with the win.
"I promise you that next year Michelle and I are going to be right there with you, and the clouds are going to start parting and the sun is going to come back out, and we're going to be busy, involved in the amazing stuff that we've been doing all these years before," Obama told told supporters in late November. Obama also revealed then that his family plans to stick around Washington, D.C., for a few years while his younger daughter, Sasha, finishes high school.
Touting strides made in expanding health insurance coverage, job creation, bringing troops back to the U.S. from Afghanistan and Iraq, and killing al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, Obama said Saturday that the country has "made extraordinary progress as a country these past eight years."
The president said income is rising, poverty is falling and the auto industry is "resurgent." Turning to diplomacy, Obama said, "We shut down Iran's nuclear weapons program, opened up a new chapter with the people of Cuba, and brought nearly 200 nations together around a climate agreement that could save this planet for our kids." He also gave a nod to the 2015 Supreme Court ruling to grant nationwide marriage equality.

When you can no longer signal how virtuous you are by voting for the black guy, you don't really have any more use for him. All he was was a symbol for white liberals to feel good about themselves.

I have been saying for years that if the next President doesn't interfere with the Justice department, this corrupt man-child is going to end up in prison.
The only way he stays out of prison is if the next President halts the process.
The destruction he wrought on the middle east and around the world will take decades to resolve, and this says nothing of all the people tortured and murdered because the New York media elected this silly @$$ of a man.
The Trillions of dollars that this welfare case has cost us will also take decades to pay for.

He doesn't understand that his only contribution was showing up while black. The New York Liberal Democrat news media did all the work for him, and so did the Los Angeles based Liberal Democrat entertainment media.
Obama didn't "win", they carried him while attacking his opponents. The media won. Obama was just "present".
Their use of the word progress disgusts me.

I always thought that Kurt Russell was saying "get the bulge on a tub like you", but he was ACTUALLY saying "get the bulge on a dub like you".

President Trump will be winning for America so much and so often, the WON who lost will be totally ignored. After a few weeks he will go back to being a creepy clown. America deserves a hearty laugh.
At such time the won evolves to 0, and he asks Jimmy Carter if he, too, could help in building needed homes.
