Is the scaffold they hung the Lincoln assassination conspirators on still there or do we need to build another?
I have a hammer, some nails, and some left-over lumber from a garage project... I’ll gladly donate even if I don’t get to pull the lever.
The scaffold is not there, neither is the wall, nor the prison cells where the Lincoln assassins were held during the trial. Only the building where the trial was held, on the 2nd floor, is still standing on Ft. McNair. One can schedule a tour of the court room. Where the scaffold stood, is now the east end of the post tennis court.
Do a Google earth search for Ft. McNair, DC and you can zoom onto the area.
Trump is going to have to slap this man down, hard.
