Each person has the right to identify their own pronouns

"Person" is a singular noun, by definition, and by the fact that it has a singular verb ("has"). It is then followed by the pronoun "their," which is third person plural.

In English grammar, a pronoun must match the case, gender, and person of its antecedent.
