“Sadly, SCOTUS wouldn’t agree”

They don’t have to. Our government is designed so that any two branches can rein in the third.

The Supreme Court seems to think that “court of last resort” means they have the final say over everyone.

I can ONLY go by what was done in the past....some presidential EOs can are have been done away with by the newly minted president; however, some of those have been overturned by the SCOTUS and Congress hasn’t been involved at all....not ever, in recent memory.
