It’s not that people like her don’t respect Trump. They don’t, but the problem is they don’t respect
* The Constitution
* Fellow voters
* The government and system we live under
* Capitalism
* Equal opportunity (as opposed to equal outcome)
Many of us felt the same way about Obama as these people feel about Trump. But we did not think the same things about our fellow voters, the system that led to Obama, the Constitution, or the country. We know the Constitution and system will “fix things” and “Obamas happen” along the way.
They know the system we have will not fix itself to their satisfaction (e.g. we become like Cuba or Venezuela) and they resort extreme actions and statements in hope of converting others to their disdain for the country we live in. They need that to convert the US to Cuba (dump the Constitution/electoral college, put LA/NYC in charge of the rest of us, etc).
