Then, Julian managed to convince them he was alive and they pulled back to let him continue his own strategy.
It is widely suspected, but so far, no proof. That said, I have read that Trump is actively confronting the obstructionists. I have no idea what they might have , but I’m hopeful it is strong enough to curb them. Lindsey may feel a need to grandstand in the hopes of swaying enough Senators, but then, we don’t know what Trump is saying to them, either.
His team hasn’t bloviated, so far and there were assurances a few weeks ago that they were on this,so I’m going to wait and see. Trump didn’t come this far to suddenly cave to a Senate that sat on its hands for 8 years after abdicating their Constitutional power to zer0.
I believe he and McCain are deep in the pockets of the defense contractors and Trump has taken them head on. Lindsey and company may find THAT source of revenue drying up, along with the CF $.
