To compare apples to apples, it is just as illegal to refuse restaurant service by political affiliation as it is by skin color. The latter was codified back in the heyday of the civil rights movement.

I like signs such as that. They let me know where I am not appreciated. I take my money and go elsewhere. Where I am appreciated. The difference in atmosphere is as between night and day. People need to try it instead of bitching and crying. It also prevents one from getting extra seasoning such as spit, snot, and and other things in their food.

Go in. Order a large meal. Wait until it’s delivered, then say: “Oh, I’m sorry! I just remembered I voted for Trump and I’m not allowed to eat here!” and then leave (without paying for anything, of course). I don’t think they could legally charge you for the food because they are, after all, the ones who refuse to serve it to you.
It’s theft, but maybe some can go there and eat (if the food’s palatable) then walk away without paying the bill.Lunch and leave, dine and dash, eat it and beat it.

Imagine if the sign said “We don’t serve fags.”
How is this qualitatively different?
My rules would be:
If you have blue, pink. purple or orange hair you cannot eat here.
if you do not own a gun you cannot eat here.
If you support homosexuality you cannot eat here.
If you voted for Hillary or Bernie you cannot eat here.
If you are are tatooed or pierced more than twice you cannot eat here.
If you do not eat bacon you cannot eat here.
If you’re a feminist you cannot eat here.
If you are high you cannot eat here.
If you call America a democracy you cannot eat here.
If you don’t say “Merry Christmas” you cannot eat here.
Small clientele, yeah, but good. Lots of bacon dishes, too.
Filled with a burning self-righteousness he has become what he professes to hate.
Don’t eat it. Take a bite or two and then make a scene that the food is so disgusting you can’t finish it. “Offer” to pay for it uneaten, just to demonstrate how fair you are, but let every patron in the building know that you consider it vile.
Never reveal that you’re a Trumpist or you’ll just discredit yourself.
A few dozen meals tossed in the garbage along with the horrible PR and this place is swirling the bowl.
