“Poodle owner accused of slitting pit bull’s throat after dog fight”
Is a lion killing a gazelle considered a “fight”?
Didn’t you hear the pitbull got Johnnie Cochran as it’s attorney ?>!
I am siding with the poodle owner on this one. The accused can claim self defense and probably would win if it went to trial. The accused could also file a civil lawsuit against the pit bull owner for loss of property.
If you use a golf club it could be putt bull.
I had a deal with one of my neighbors: if one of his dogs hurts anyone in my family...
He sold and moved away.
Don’t say anything to the police. Let your lawyer say “my client was afraid for his life.”
If the collar don’t fit,
you must acquit
the attacking pit?
Sounds like the pit also attacked the man once I read the article.
Well, fine the pit owner more.
I have a trained Malinois that will heel off leash. Why should I have to have her on a leash? Mine is controlled.
I don’t however blame the guy for killing the dog, I would have killed it also.
Pit bulls are nasty evil breeds of dogs. A 10 month old puppy dog should not be subject to the danger of a pit bull attack. The owner of the pit bull should be subject to a law suit in a peaceful society and subject to a hammer to the ankles in an unjust society. In a lighter note: a guy was walking his 30 lb dog off lease today and the friendly dog came over and said high. I petted him and told him how much I like good dogs. Happy friendly dogs are my friends. And I value friends.
Chikin!—the universal food! :-)
...Why should I have to have her on a leash? Mine is controlled....
If you visit Florida, Texas, Michigan, and other states, better bring a leash. It’s called the leash law.
I’m saying he’s justified in defending his life
“Pit bulls are nasty evil breeds of dogs.”
A lot of depends on the owner. My brother has a pit bull and socialized the dog early. He is great with people (even strangers) and other dogs.
Everyone is justified in defending his life, whether the threat is a dog or a human being.
I carry a pit bull tactical knife for this purpose.
I’d have killed it.
Yep. If his dog was not on a leash outside his own yard, then he’d be liable for such a fine. That doesn’t change his right to defend himself.
It’s like, “Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.” You have to put your survival first.
