I don’t think you can get a pardon until you’e actually been convicted, or at least indicted, but I could be wrong

Then explain Nixon's pardon.

“Then explain Nixon’s pardon.”

Nixon was formally accused by congress of obstruction. The accusation of Nixon committing a crime led to the pardon.

As of this time, congress hasn’t formally accused Clinton of any wrongdoing so there isn’t anything to pardon her for. However, I wouldn’t put it past the media to invent a fake charge, get some unwitting RINO to support it and Obama pardons Clinton.

The Congressional Committee had an indictment drawn up and had already indicted nearly everyone else involved. The bargain was that they'd not indict if he left office. Ford pardoned him so an existing, known, prepared, legally valid, indictment would be void on presentation if anyone went back on their word.

If someone had the balls to draw up a legally acceptable indictment and have a judge they knew would sign it they could and could have done a lot of things to and about Hillary no one is going to do. One of those things no one is pardoning Hillary without so much as a pending indictment because a Pardon isn't a "Get Out of Jail Free" card, it's a pardon for crimes someone has committed and has been legally convicted of committing or has been indicted for and is awaiting the official charges, or charged with and awaiting trial.

If pardoned, there's no way the pardon would stand up to an indictment brought based on any investigation in the future. Hillary would have plenty of BS about it and the media would argue and blow smoke, but unlike Nixon, she isn't one signature away from an indictment for Federal crimes with a crew of prosecutors anxious to bring the charges and go to trial. Nor has she been named as an unindicted co-conspirator in almost all of the 69 indictments for Federal crimes that are being or have been prosecuted.

Unless Lynch at least indicts Hillary for something first, a Pardon would be worthless. Ford just ensured that the democrats couldn't reneg on their plea bargain, that's all. With Hillary, there hasn't been squat to plea bargain.

Let Barry pardon her, it'll just dig the hole deeper for both Barry and Hillary if he does.

I dont think anyone in congress or the courts challenged the pardon. But I may be wrong.
