Pardon the interruption: Clinton allegation may force Obama to act; Clinton to admit
The Hill ^ | December 27, 2016 | David Weisberg

Posted on 12/27/2016 12:14:32 PM PST by McGruff

Executive orders barring offshore drilling in most U.S. Arctic waters; an abstention at the U.N. permitting the Security Council to declare all Israeli settlement activity to be illegal and an obstacle to peace; the possibility of further action at the U.N. to formalize the administration’s comprehensive vision of a two-state solution to the Israeli/Palestinian conflict—Pres. Obama is sprinting, not jogging, to the finish-line.

In dashing through his last few weeks in office, will one of Pres. Obama’s final acts be to pardon Hillary Clinton for any violations of federal law she might have committed while she was secretary of state?

A good question came up about the date on the letter/photo I posted. Seems there are several variations of the letter out there on the Internet, having the same core content but formatted differently; this one oddly has the date 3/18/94 (97?) on it while the others don't. My guess is that Ford signed other copies as well, possibly for autograph seekers, with this one having the style of an older man with the late date he signed it.

Here's another variation, without written date and a "younger" signature:

Upshot is that Ford pardoned Nixon _without_ specifying any crimes; to the contrary, he rather pointedly addressed the lack of information thereof. So yes, there is precedent for Obama to pardon Hillary without specifying crimes (much less indictment); there's also precedent for Trump to drop the subject on the grounds of wanting to get on with the job of running the country rather than getting bogged down in the mire of rendering justice on scandals past.

“Would 0 do the same type of pardon for illary?”

For what? According to the left wing media, Hillary did nothing wrong. Which is going to make this FBI investigation after 1/20 that much more fun to watch.

Yea.

If he could Obama would give the keys to the USA to Robert Mugabe.

You mean like this?

Hillary is untouchable. She should be in jail - NOW! or worse! Nothing will happen to her, ever! (Not in this lifetime.)

Gowdy: Good morning, Director Comey. Secretary Clinton said she never sent or received any classified information over her private e-mail, was that true?

Comey: Our investigation found that there was classified information sent.

Gowdy: It was not true?

Comey: That’s what I said.

Gowdy: OK. Well, I’m looking for a shorter answer so you and I are not here quite as long. Secretary Clinton said there was nothing marked classified on her e-mails sent or received. Was that true?

Comey: That’s not true. There were a small number of portion markings on I think three of the documents.

Gowdy: Secretary Clinton said “I did not e-mail any classified information to anyone on my e-mail there was no classified material.” That is true?

Comey: There was classified information emailed.

Gowdy: Secretary Clinton used one device, was that true?

Comey: She used multiple devices during the four years of her term as Secretary of State.

Gowdy: Secretary Clinton said all work related emails were returned to the State Department. Was that true?

Comey: No. We found work related email, thousands, that were not returned.

Gowdy: Secretary Clinton said neither she or anyone else deleted work related emails from her personal account.

Comey: That’s a harder one to answer. We found traces of work related emails in — on devices or in space. Whether they were deleted or when a server was changed out something happened to them, there’s no doubt that the work related emails that were removed electronically from the email system.

Gowdy: Secretary Clinton said her lawyers read every one of the emails and were overly inclusive. Did her lawyers read the email content individually?

Comey: No.

Gowdy: Well, in the interest of time and because I have a plane to catch tomorrow afternoon, I’m not going to go through any more of the false statements but I am going to ask you to put on your old hat. Faults exculpatory statements are used for what?

Comey: Well, either for a substantive prosecution or evidence of intent in a criminal prosecution.

Gowdy: Exactly. Intent and consciousness of guilt, right?

Comey: That is right?

Gowdy: Consciousness of guilt and intent? In your old job you would prove intent as you referenced by showing the jury evidence of a complex scheme that was designed for the very purpose of concealing the public record and you would be arguing in addition to concealment the destruction that you and I just talked about or certainly the failure to preserve.

“If obama pardons hillary can the trump admin still prosecute her?”

No. But a pardon excludes future crimes. The Clintons are, above all else, criminals. What are the chances they’ll stay pure as the driven snow for the remainder of their godforsaken lives? Watch them, catch them, prosecute them, incarcerate them.

I dont think anyone in congress or the courts challenged the pardon. But I may be wrong.

I would not be surprised if he emptied the prison system onto the streets. He’s that evil and he hates America that much.

but, wouldn’t the pardon have to include .. AFTER SHE LEFT THE Secretary of State’s office too ..???????

Otherwise, she will be left holding the bag for a lot of the stuff - which has already been exposed in the emails.
