Who would read such awful literature??? Even if you agree with her atheistic ideas I don’t see why someone would punish themselves by reading a thousand pages of artless literature
You guys actually read some real books then in school. Aside from Shakespeare, and one or two classes where I read Renaissance literature or things like Edgar Allen Poe, the vast majority of English classes I took were either about fa—err, uhh, homosexuals, or about evil racist white men. Sometimes they’d combine the two, like this stupid book about these two bull-dy—, err uh, two handsome lesbian women, who cross into Mexico in order to illegally adopt a baby. But when they get there, they discover that the mother and the baby were murdered by George W. Bush. Not technically GWB, but a guy who wore a cowboy hat, whose name was George, made comments similar to George Bush, but who spent all his time—when not making obscene amounts of money—murdering and raping Mexican women.
I heard from a friend, who still hasn’t graduated with her English degree, that the whole department went into some serious mourning when Trump won the Presidency.
