Tucker Carlson Embarrasses Feminist Who Defended Harassing Ivanka [VIDEO]
Daily Caller ^ | 12/23/2016 | PETER HASSON

Posted on 12/23/2016 9:42:52 PM PST by Kazan

Fox News host Tucker Carlson embarrassed Teen Vogue writer Lauren Duca Friday night after she defended the man who harassed Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight the day before.

After Ivanka was harassed, Duca said on Twitter that “Ivanka Trump is poised to become the most powerful woman in the world. Don’t let her off the hook because she looks like she smells good.”

“What are the venues where you shouldn’t scream your political views at people, would a funeral be out-of-bounds, church, her son’s brisk, like what are the rules on that?” the “Tucker Carlson Tonight” host and Daily Caller founder asked.“Yeah, well, what I think is a nonpartisan issue is that air travel is horrific and I don’t think anybody should be enduring confrontations in the air, be it Ivanka Trump with her children or any other human being in a tin can and feeling dehydrated,” Duca said, attempting to walk back her defense of the harassment.

“At the same time, she does have an incredibly powerful position and she’s not just a mother she is a powerful woman who is connected very closely to the president-elect not just as his daughter but in many ways as his business confidant and adviser and I think we haven’t quite been able to define what those roles mean,” Duca continued. “So, while I don’t want anyone being yelled at on a plane, I don’t want anyone yelling at me on a plane, I don’t want to yell at anyone on a plane but I think Ivanka’s incredibly compelling brand and presence and role as a mother and successful woman, those are interesting and attractive and interesting aspects of her brand.”

“But wait a second, that’s not at all what your tweet suggested,” Carlson said, later noting another tweet in which Duca said that “Ivanka HAS IT ALL, [and] by that I mean, ‘a job, family [and] sinister complicity in aiding the most aggressively anti-woman candidate of our time.'”

“Sinister complicity, what does that mean? She’s his daughter,” Carlson asked.

“She was a surrogate frequently throughout, she did interviews, she did speeches on his behalf, where she represented a platform of women’s empowerment,” Duca answered, later adding that people shouldn’t be “blinded by the fact that she looks like she smells like vanilla.”

“She looks like she smells like vanilla?” Carlson asked. “I mean, who’s objectifying women here?”

Carlson then called Duca out for a tweet in which she wrote, “eat shit [Donald Trump].” Duca denied that she ever wrote the tweet but TheDC saved a screenshot of it.

Carlson went on to press Duca on a claim she made that Trump was “threatening the sovereignty of an entire religion.” “What does that even mean?” Carlson asked.

“That means an entire agenda, a platform based on banning Muslims which is still available on his website,” Duca answered. “How does that threaten the sovereignty of religion? That’s moronic, Lauren, you’re a writer, how does that threaten the sovereignty of it? Pardon me for taking your words literally,” Carlson shot back.

Carlson also poked fun at Duca for an article she wrote about Ariana Grande’s “Most Epic Thigh-High Boots.” Duca did not appreciate the humor, later saying, “You’re a sexist pig” after Carlson told her to stick to writing about thigh-high boots.

The whole interview is worth watching and can be seen below.

She said that Trump is the most anti-woman to run for the presidency.

This happens all the time. WHY does nobody every point out the fact that most of the top management in his company are women?

This woman's argument boils down to: "There is a correct feminist world view and Ivanka Trump - who has been unfairly gifted with great looks, great brains, and great power - dares not to hold to it 100%. Therefore, she must be incessantly nagged by Persons of Good Will until she gets her mind right."

Tucker should have pointed out that her premises are faulty - and that without them, she has no case to make.

I didn’t watch the video because I saw it live last night . The best part was Tucker’s comment about the thigh high boots !

I’m impressed that you figured out how to boil down this chick’s whole point of view. She was all over the map, and I could find no logic or sense to any of it. Complete bafflegab.

I did kinda pick up on the fact that she’s insanely jealous of Ivanka.

Well, her friends and associates all understand the collective "How dare you?" that is to be directed without question at women like Ivanka - that's why they all think she was the winner against Tucker. And why he should have asked her, "Who is a person of zero accomplishment like you to attack Ivanka Trump? She succeeded because she rejects your whole world view."

She would have screamed and thrown things. :)

That brainless airhead was utterly unintelligible. I hope someday she grows up otherwise she will be permanently bitter and unhappy.

Teen girls reading her rantings and ravings are probably as bonkers as she is. Parents who let their kids read Teen Vogue are committing child abuse.

Immortalized in Seinfeld episode The Yada Yada
Elaine: I met this lawyer. We went out to dinner. I had the lobster bisque. We went back to my place. Yada, yada, yada, I never heard from him again.
Jerry: But you yada yada-ed over the best part.
Elaine: No, I mentioned the bisque.

I'm guessing she left the interview and told her Teen Vogue friends "I really showed HIM up, didn't I?"

I checked her twitter feed- she did exactly that, as well as retweeting people who approved of her performance (including one by a man Tucker interviewed recently, who also came off as a loon).

Don’t think either of Ivanka’s sons had a brisk.

The Duca woman should have been embarrassed but clearly was not. She’s got all that prog cred now.
