How appros that you should use NH as an example. I just renewed mine and youre completely correct in saying the silly requirements are roadblocks to discourage and time to complete the hoops would be better spent on other things. I had to give 3 references...again. Why? My town doesnt even contacted them. Next, under the ‘Why do you want a concealed carry permit’ question I wasnt simply allowed to state ‘For all lawful purposes’ as in the past. I HAD to give an enumerated list: hunting, self defense and target shooting which are all state sanctioned uses for CCW. Why ‘all lawful purposes’ wasnt OK is anyones guess. The salt in this wound is that the NH legislature has twice presented a Consituton Carry law to the governor which has been vetoed. Why? It remains to be seen if the new governor, a RINO, will maintian status quo. In any event ME has had Consitutional Carry for at least a year now and none of the left’s predicted genocide has materialized. Its well beyond time for NH to restore lost freedoms and stop to permit silliness. Its only useful for those regressive PDs who try to find any reason to disqualify applicants.

I hope that New Hampshire goes Constitutional carry this year.

They have been ripe for a long time.
