Give that headline writer an “A” for propaganda. A known ISIS supporter who was being monitored by German intelligence kills a bunch of people and then disappears, but the takeaway is that these “critics” are using this tragedy to “pounce” on poor Angela Merkel

The only way to reverse this situation is through a quasi civil war of deporting criminals. That ain’t gonna happen. Germany would be attacked for returning to its Nazi roots. An individual by individual guessing game is the best of the possibilities.

The AdF Party (Wiki)

At the party congress 2016, the AfD adopted a policy platform based upon opposition to Islam, calling for the ban of Islamic symbols including burkhas, minarets and the call to prayer, using the slogan “Islam is not a part of Germany”.

Ideology and policies

The AfD founded as a centre-right conservative party of the middle class with a basis on ‘soft’ Euroscepticism, generally supportive of Germany’s membership of the EU but critical of further European integration, the existence of the euro currency, and bailouts by the eurozone for countries (Greece). The party also advocated support for Swiss-style direct democracy, dissolution of the Eurozone, opposition to immigration, and opposed gay marriage.

Family & equal opportunities: the party wants to reintroduce the traditional family patterns. Die Tageszeitung entitled objectives as ‘old gender roles’.

Environment: The party denies anthropogenic factors in the role of global warming. Therefore the party criticizes the energy transformation policies (Energiewende) in Germany; for instance, the party wants to stop “uncontrolled expansion of wind energy”
