Donald Trump’s presidential transition team has asked State Department officials to disclose how much money it provides each year to international environmental groups. It’s the latest example of how the incoming administration is reassessing the U.S. government’s approach to tackling climate change and other environmental priorities.

As part of a list of questions posed last week to the department’s Bureau of Oceans and International Environmental and Scientific Affairs, according to multiple people familiar with the matter, the Trump landing team asked, “How much does the Department of State contribute annually to international environmental organizations in which the department participates?”

The individuals familiar with the request spoke on the condition of anonymity because transition communications are confidential.

Trump needs to also heavily stress that any data lost as part of providing the data, will result in lost jobs, pensions, and be prosecuted, resulting in prison time!!!

I guess it's too much to expect the action to be framed as the latest example of how the incoming administration is ensuring the U.S. government spends taxpayers money wisely.

Trump needs to cut off most, if not all, of the NGOs. The vast majority of those organizations are the diplomatic equivalent of cancer.

The Trump Plan to revitalize the economy becomes more clear every day. It all revolves around the increased domestic production of cheap abundant energy. With it, the economy will naturally take off. In order for that to happen, the government has to stop strangling it.

Seriously, given four years of this, we will see a peacetime economic boom of unprecedented proportions.

DoE refused to provide a list of names of persons who had done specific tasks. While the agency can do that today, it won’t be able to do that on January 21st.

But expenditures is another matter. With the exception of national security, the government is supposed to be transparent with where and how it spends our money. Failure to fork over the information should be subject to discipline. And yes, maybe they can stonewall the request today, but on January 21st they can be fired for it.

If Trump wants to increase the size of any Federal department, he can increase the size of the Inspector General and tell them they need to fire about 5,000 useless and harmful bureaucrats a week.

tackling climate change

These media writers are dumb as rocks.

Lets see how many federal bureaucrats are dumb enough to say the words "climate change" or "global warming" after January 20.

That would be like wearing a sign that says: "Fire me because I am a leftist idiot!"

When the Democrats stated the 17 agencies agreed that the DNC was hacked by the Russians, someone tweeted “Why are there 17 agencies doing the same thing?” Good question.

So why is the State Department interested in the environment?
