CA Gun Sales Surge Ahead of 'Assault Rifle' Ban

Californians are rushing to purchase the evil AR15 semi-automatic "assault" rifle before a new ban goes into effect on January 1, 2017. Governor Jerry Brown signed the gun-control measure into law back in July and with a 10-day waiting period for all gun sales, time is running out to purchase the gun and take possession before next year. All of these newly purchased guns must be registered with the state before the deadline kicks in on Wednesday, December 21.

" All of these newly purchased guns must be registered with the state..." Calibfornia.

Heads up NEVADA second amendment supporters. I got an email from Don Turner yesterday and in it he stated that the up coming legislative session has on the agenda a high cap magazine restriction to be addressed. Seeing as the libs control both houses this time around and knowing how rabid anti-firearm some of them are, it's going to take a lot of effort to prevent them from further infringing on our rights. Sadly, the only reason Question 1 passed was because of Clark county. The ONLY county in the state where it passed. I'm to the point of allowing calibfornia to annex Las Vegas and Clark county. This ain't calibfornia so, in the words of the lyin king: "Stop it. Cut that out."

SUPREME COURT OF THE UNITED STATES JAIME CAETANO v. MASSACHUSETTS ON PETITION FOR WRIT OF CERTIORARI TO THE SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT OF MASSACHUSETTS No. 14–10078. Decided March 21, 2016

PER CURIAM.

The Court has held that “the Second Amendment extends, prima facie, to all instruments that constitute bearable arms, even those that were not in existence at the time of the founding,” District of Columbia v. Death of the 2nd Amendment, by a Thousand Cuts... one law, one county, one legislature, one vote, at a time. Those leftist-commie scumbags will never give up.

Well Nevadans need to pounce on their “representatives” even before the session begins. Of course they’ll listen with interest to the pro-gun folks. And then ignore them anyway. After all, it’s probably “for the children”. Plus, put and end to any crime related “assault weapon” uses and end domestic violence as well. Because we all know criminals, for the most part, obey the law. Oh..............

The sad thing is that there was an initiative push to repeal all of the recent Gov. Brown anti-2nd laws. We needed 600,000 signatures and only got 200,000.

So now we get what we get.

I think next anti Gun move is Product Liability against Gun Manufactures and Gun Smiths. You always sue the bigger wallet is what I was taught, so they go after S&W when some nut case does something evil, then manufacturers leave the industry.

Like holding Audi responsible because I do not know how to drive safely and I go 110 thru a school zone causing a massive crash and carnage.

Stupid I know, but the lefties will make it stick as the country is run by a handful of Judges.

Contrary to a car, most guns are designed with a single purpose.

Why not get your local county or town to declare a gun owners sanctuary county and just refuse to obey any new state gun restrictions???

And then ignore them anyway.

The problem arises in the fact that, somehow, we are perfectly ok with this.

You’re right. And they did go after Bushmaster after Sandy Hook, but it was thrown out, IIRC. Maybe other mfgrs over the years too; can’t remember.

And this is why the cost of guns and ammo won’t be going down, ever, despite Obama being out of a job.

I was told by my Gun Shop guy that these mass shooting events with an AR15 is almost always a Bushmaster rifle as it is the lower cost of the wide spectrum of AR15 vendors. Crazy guy does not make the investment like responsible owner does was his point.

I say we go the electors route in all the states so the 1 or 2 large counties don’t dictate what the entire state will do.

Maybe thats the solution, since the elected officials have their own interests at heart. Form “gun gangs” where members seek out the most powerful legal
weapons available throughout the country and hide them in Ca.
