James Earl Ray, while no doubt a total dumbass, didn’t shoot MLK. King’s family doesn’t believe he did to the extent of joining Ray’s law suit for a new trial.
Since I never lost an id from my pants pocket or the wallet if in the back pocket I assumed this was deliberately left and who the hell knows what the murderer’s name really is.
Oswald killed JFK. Ray, I can’t say. I don’t think it’s far fetched that the ID fell out. THe autopsy of the poor Polish truck driver shows that he put up a struggle, and tried to turn the truck. He was killed at the end. I’m sure the struggle dislodged the ID.
If the guy is innocent, and he has an alibi, get an attorney and turn yourself in.
