Anytime Lena Dunham is trending online these days, its typically for some headline-making political comment. However, the Girls creator seems to have taken it too far for some people this time around.
On her podcast, Women of the Hour, the 30-year-old actress tackled the topic of abortion, saying that although she hasnt had one, she wished she had. Dunham began by talking about how she was raised by her mother to be pro-choice.
From an early age, she taught my younger sibling and me to say anti-choice instead of pro-life because she wanted to make sure that we knew that everyone is pro-life, Dunham said. Some people are anti-choice.
Despite her pro-choice view, Dunham realized that even she unknowingly carried with her a stigma around the topic.
One day, when I was visiting a Planned Parenthood in Texas a few years ago, a young girl walked up to me and asked me if Id like to be a part of her project in which women share their stories of abortions, she recalled. I sort of jumped. I havent had an abortion, I told her. I wanted to make it really clear to her that as much as I was going out and fighting for other womens options, I myself had never had an abortion. And I realized then that even I was carrying within myself stigma around this issue. Even I, the woman who cares as much as anybody about a womans right to choose, felt it was important that people know I was unblemished in this department.
She added, Now I can say that I still havent had an abortion, but I wish I had.

Is that because no man would go near her?
I wish her mother had.
She should be sterilized.
Anyone stupid enough to say something like that cannot be allowed to keep defecating in the gene pool.
Just... No.
Isn’t Lena Dunham a lesbian?
She is one sick chickie. Lord have mercy.
What if Lena Dunhams mother had an abortion...
Argh... the futility of criticizing a marionette.
Sicko
Many Leftists are anti-life period, wherever you are in the life cycle.
“”...it was important that people know I was unblemished in this department.”
It is more than a blemish but she knows it is no medal of honor but of shame...she has been graced by God with the gift to know shame for/of sins. This is deliberate evil Lena does - a spit in the face of God.
Someone should ask Lena if she thinks her mom should have had an abortion.
Some celebrities you just feel are going to come to a bad end.
Michael Jackson’s untimely passing certainly didn’t surprise me. I can think of others, but you see where I’m going with this.
I have a similar feeling about Lena Dunham. At least Michael had talent, whatever his personal failings.
Lena Dunham has to be probably the most worthless creature built up into a “famous for being famous” celebrity by an amoral media.
I would add Amy Schumer, or whoever she is, to that list. I never heard of her until people walked out of her show when she said something about Trump.
Too bad your mom didn’t think the same way.
I’m still trying to figure out what makes this tub of useless fat cells famous, aside from comments and antics that show her to be certifiably insane.
So, let me get this straight.
Her mother actively taught her children to be willing to kill her future grandchildren?
How is this not heathen and evil, just as much as Baal worship?
I watched an episode of Girls once (so you don’t have to). It seemed to revolve around Dunham’s character’s obsession with cleaning her ear with a Q-tip which landed her in the emergency room. The last scene showed a young man ejaculating on to his naked girlfriend’s chest, much to said girlfriend’s disgust. Fortunately they didn’t show the money shot, just the aftermath. And no, I’m not making any of this up. I just wanted to see what the fuss was all about. One and done for me.
I wish her Mother had!
