I don’t agree with your last sentence but mooch sure is. She wondered aloud with Oprah why the American people called her an “angry black woman.” Maybe the perennial scowl did it.
I’ve been around many in SE MI for many years. In school, workplaces, stores, summer fests, other venues. I know what I see and hear, and call it as I see it.
