How is it that there were a man or men with guns who could kill the assassin, but they weren’t there to protect the ambassador?
SO many things about this incident don't 'jell'.
We could assume that the 'security' was kept outside and only came in later and shot the perp. I guess they had to wait until he (the perp) finished his 'speech'.
I have read that the assassin used a FAKE POLICE ID to get through the 'security' (metal detectors?). I have also read that he WAS a COP.
If they wanted NO SECURITY in the ROOM where the artwork and speech by the Ambassador was, why would they let a COP in with a GUN ?
