Students at the University of Wisconsin, Madison are demanding that their schools administration put members of a conservative club through intensive diversity training.
An online petition being circulated by the schools Student Coalition for Progress condemns the Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) chapter on campus for hosting Ben Shapiro, whom they claim has used his following and nationally syndicated media presence to deny the realities of systematic and institutional violence against Black and Brown people, sexual assault survivors, Muslims, LGBTQIA+ people, people with low income[s], people with differing abilities, undocumented immigrants, and anyone that [sic] is systematically targeted along identity lines.

What the hell is LGBTQIA+? I am Trump supporter from srart. But...
Unfortunately trump also used this term in acceptance speech pandering to these people.

Wow! Ben Shapiro is one busy guy! How does he have time to work against all of the groups listed? He is probably being accused of hating groups he has never heard of! The far Left continues to find a home at UW Madison...

Think there is a way to end their public funding if they do not ALLOW FREEDOM OF SPEECH???

Here it comes. This is why I retired early. I could have taught for 5-6 more years, but among other things I saw this campus fascism coming (as of course many of us did). Weekly desensitization sessions were rampant in California 15 years ago.

Shut down the YAF, then the Progress group should be shut down, too.
I'm surprised that UWM has a YAF chapter. Where does it meet, in a broom closet? :-)

This is why the voting age should be 25 and why the lying liberal professors should be fired for hiding the truth of freedom from these ignorant kids. Harry Truman was asked about lowering the voting age to 18 replied, "It would make more sense to raise it to 25."

Why are the biggest wimps usually the people hiding the most violent fantasies? These idiots want to bully people but would melt like snowflakes in the face of a real confrontation where people fight back.

The University of Wisconsin at Madison, in particular its history department, has been a hotbed of radicalism for more than a century. Its denizens have included Charles A. Beard, whose An Economic Interpretation of the Constitution of the United States (New York: Macmillan, 1913) argued that the Constitution was a rich man's plot, and William Appleman Williams, whose The Tragedy of American Diplomacy (Cleveland, Ohio: World, 1959), which puts the blame for the Cold War on the US. So I'm happy to learn that there's a YAF chapter on the campus.

Any school that does not promote freedom of speech or any of our inalienable rights should have their federal funding stopped and required to return past funds received.
