I’m watching C-Span. Illinois is voting (Democrats). The strangest thing just happened! As she called a name, William Marovitz, her eyes followed him, and as he was walking to the ballot box, she held up one finger and said, “Just one vote for president!”
Two other guys there snickered as the guy was approaching the ballot box.
What was THAT all about?

Probably ragging him about the “vote often” part of “vote early and often” from the Chicago & the Daley ‘machine’ quote.
Joke reference to Chicago politics most likely. Marovitz does have some shady dealings in his past, at least a SEC charge of insider trading, pretty much typical Chicago Democrat.
