Electoral college details.
1) The electors in each state meet in their state’s capitol, at a time determined by each state, not in coordination with other states. They never all assemble as a group.
2) Each elector fills out and has certified six copies of their vote, that go to the US congress, the national archivist, and their states federal district judge.
3) The votes going to the US congress are sent by USPS. Hopefully by overnight mail, that is at least certified. It being the Christmas rush, we should hope that they arrive in Washington, D.C. before New Years Day.
In this day and age you’d think it would be FedX over night done. Or electronically done.
Don’t know about any one’s USPS but ours sucks, and is at least 2 days late even on Amazon Prime stuff. Netfix is never delivered on Mondays even when it is due in. Stuff comes in damaged too, and wrong address.
