There was a post on FB months ago that he had aids. I did not put much credence to it but maybe that person was right. Who knows? Cancer also could be a reason. My late husband was told in April he had terminal liver cancer. They gave him 6 months but he died in July. . He had lost a lot of weight, was very weak, but still tried to do the things he enjoyed, playing golf and bass fishing. After he died we went through his bass boat and found a crutch he had used to get in and out of the boat. He would never have wanted to live like that. That was in 2006 and we still miss him terribly especially at this time of the year. God bless.

Sorry to hear about your husband.

Cancer, as we know can be deadly. Pancreatic and liver cancer victims often have a short survival time after their diagnosis.

Christmas can be tough for all of us, who no longer have a loved one or close friend to be with us or to reach out with a phone and talk with them.

so sorry for your loss Mama.....I work in a hospital and this is the WORSE time of year for families with sick ones near death.....

the only good death I remember is one that took place on July 4th...it was of a person who suffered terribly from some terminal disease, the exact nature I forget....but all I could think was this was Independence Day for her....
