Not shocking at all...
Israel has for years supported al-Qaeda terrorists in Syria (including OPEN medical and logistical support for Sunni “rebels” in the Golan and carrying out airstrikes against Assad’s forces). The Israelis are in cahoots with the Saudis and Turks vs. Russia/Iran/Assad/Hezbollah... they are infact rather open about it.

Congress declare war? How old fashioned. Nowadays, the President just makes war whenever and wherever he wants.

In Libya, Obama said to hell with the War Powers Act. And, in Syria, he said he would only ask Congress for authorization if that were convenient. In Iraq, he was our forces aiding the attack on Mosul in order to defend the embassy.
