In the 1970s, feminazis were fond of telling anyone who disagreed with them and their policies, beliefs, practices and philosophies “you just need to be enlightened.”
Sure, and ISIS and Al Qaeda tell us exactly the same thing.
Many many people find your choices, your decisions, activities anathema, counter to all rules and practices of civilization from time immemorial and they don’t need “enlightening,” so much as you need to accept not everyone will go along to get along.
Not saying being harrassed and/or beaten in an alley outside a bar is acceptable behaviour, live and let live, treat others as you would wish to be treated, but I don’t need to accept your delusions, your proselytizing as anything remotely resembling normal.
