They look at Christians as potential Taliban, while multiculturalism’s hatred of Judeo-Christian American values causes them to coddle Islam, ignoring the one religion that IS setting up oppressive theocratic states around the world.
Example: Netflix is remaking “A Handmaid’s Tale” by Atwood, and while set in a Christian theocratic state, all I could think was “Oh, like the Taliban and ISIS but with color coded burkas and they can actually show their faces”.
These folks are so traumatized by the hypothetical theocracy led by the late Jerry Falwell, that they willingly embrace the only religion on the face of planet Earth who actually have fully functional theocracies, replete with a "religious police", blasphemy, and apostasy in their criminal codes, and legal religious discrimination.
And they claim they are the "intelligent" people? It boggles the mind...
