Coast Guard officers said at a news conference Thursday that the drugs brought to Fort Lauderdale came from 27 separate vessel interdictions and five bale recovery operations off Central and South America over the past three months.
Last time I checked, Central and South America are on the Pacific. The drugs were seized there then taken to Fort Lauderdale.

I believe if you check a map you’ll find they are both bordered by both. Atlantic on the East and Pacific on the west.
