While I agree these idiots are thugs who deserve everything the LAW can throw against them, this is a university that refuses to release the color of suspects, and has college "codes of ethics" which can expel someone for offending another student. The entire University, especially the sport department, is a complete cluster.

Police could have pressed charges if they wanted to do so. They chose not to do that. That was the mistake here.

Render unto Caesar, ok? We are talking criminal, civil, and code of conduct. Those degenerates are off the hook when it comes to the first two. As to the latter, if the team members violated the code of conduct, they should be held to account.
