The Minnesota football team has announced a boycott of football following the suspension of 10 Gophers after a sexual assault investigation by the school.
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, players threatened to boycott the Dec. 27 Holiday Bowl against Washington State in protest of the 10 players being suspended. The team held a players-only meeting and later brought in head coach Tracy Claeys, informing him of their plans. Afterward, they announced the football boycott to reporters.

Boycott ended this morning. Apparently, the mush-mind, activist White players, were informed by their attorneys that they were boarding a sinking ship.
My point is, why does alcohol matter? Otherwise you invalidate Drunk driving rules and nearly all such rules benefit the woman (and who are you to say she didn’t want to screw sober and got drunk to get the nads to hit on the person). Most such violations usually end up in a game suspension or extra practices. Not a year ban or expulsion. This fees like Duke and UVA all over again.
As far as the law goes, you are correct. As far as standards of conduct for athletes at a Big 10 university, I believe there’s more to it.
