Why would the governor in waiting, Henry McMaster, even try to straighten out the mess in South Carolina when he is the beneficiary of that mess? South Carolina does not elect conservatives, they elect good old boys who are more interested in power than conservative values. DeMint may have been an exception but then again he quit on us rather than staying on to fight.
