X number of Dem candidates will actually believe the CIA (oh, the irony), and the other half of Dem candidates will know it's a ruse but realize it gives Podesta et al some minor cover with their own idiot constituents.

But even as a long con, it's dementedly bad - when you attempt to exploit people Alisnky-style, it inevitably Gruberrangs.
