To: proud American in Canada

I cried the day after the election in 2008 because I knew what the dumbass would do to America. I didn’t bother crying after that. I just sucked it up and waited for 2016.

It was indeed a sad day. And a very depressing eight years.

Perhaps I shed some years; don’t remember...but I didn’t call in sick to work or engage in protests.

Conservatives may be sad at a unfortunate turn of events, but they pick themselves up quickly and move on, as you did, FRiend. :)

I cried the early morning hours of Nov. 9 when it was announced that Donald Trump is now the 45th president of the United States . I was so happy and releived that we can now have a chance of having our country back. It has been 8 long arduous years.
