In telephone conversations with Donald Trump, FBI Director James Comey assured the president-elect there was no credible evidence that Russia influenced the outcome of the recent U.S. presidential election by hacking the Democratic National Committee and the e-mails of John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
What’s more, Comey told Trump that James Clapper, the director of National Intelligence, agreed with this FBI assessment.
The only member of the U.S. intelligence community who was ready to assert that the Russians sanctioned the hacking was John Brennan, the director of the CIA, according to sources who were briefed on Comey’s conversations with Trump.
“And Brennan takes his marching orders from President Obama,” the sources quoted Comey as saying.
In Comey’s view, the leaks to the New York Times and the Washington Post alleging that the Russians tried—and perhaps even succeeded—in tilting the election to Trump were a Democratic Party effort to delegitimize Trump’s victory.
During their phone conversations, Comey informed Trump that the FBI had been alert for the past year to the danger that the Russians would try to cause mischief during the U.S. presidential election.
However, whether the Russians did so remains an open question, Comey said, adding that it was just as likely that the hacking was done by people who had no direct connection to the Russian government.
“It’s also unclear,” the sources pointed out, “why Putin would have preferred dealing with Donald Trump, who has promised a major military buildup, over Hillary Clinton, who would have continued Barack Obama’s cautious policies toward the Kremlin.”
The Clintons and their followers have been trying to set up scapegoats, including Comey, to explain her defeat. Comey doesn’t like their selection of scapegoats. So naturally, he won’t support their narrative.
In order to retain their influence, the Clintons need to show everyone that Hillary wasn’t a flop - she really did win (like with the popular vote) and if it weren’t for the Russian manipulations and the blatant partisanship of Comey, she would be President.
That is exactly what I thought 2 hours ago. These Dems and lib rags spewing all this about Russian hacking. It is called projection. They know our government does it and they (Dems and media) would do all they could too.

Anyway, he was quite calm and said it was up to Comey. He praised him, said “Jim is a good guy, he worked for me, I know him, and he will make the right decision. It’s difficult to do a job when your boss doesn’t trust you.” That last sentence is a paraphrase, but it conveys the thought.
Comey still works for zer0. He is under pressure and can’t do a thing with a hostile Justice Department. After January 20, he’ll meet with Trump and they will do whatever Trump wants. If Comey leaves, it’s my opinion that he will leave of his own accord and only nice things will be said in public. Trump doesn’t do public humiliation.
Bear in mind that the FBI never quit the other 15-16 Clinton investigations, which are ongoing in several venues. The FBI is on record disputing the rogue elements in CIA and Brennan as far as Russian *hacking* goes.
Also IMO, Brennan is the real danger. Clapper is also on board w/Trump, from what I can tell. I get the impression there are still some decent people at CIA, too, but they are outnumbered or out-gunned, is more likely, given the head honcho is a weasel.
I wouldn’t trust that site. Noah’s Ark graphics equals instant suspect status in my book. Even Townhall you have to take with a grain of salt sometimes, although it seems like Ed Klein has some standing. I wonder who these sources are who were privy to the Comey call to Trump? And why would they leak it to a minor outlet like Townhall? I am in wait and see mode on this one.

The media and Brennan/zer0/Lynch want people confused. That’s why they emphasize *hack*, which to the idiots means *forged*.
Emails can be verified and the ones leaked so far have been. That can be pounded home once Trump is inaugurated. Right now, all the leverage, all the power, still resides with the zer0 administration.
We need to be patient. The content of the emails IS explosive and most of the energy leads right back to the Clinton Foundation and the Clinton Initiative. The ongoing FBI investigations include one begun in Little Rock, at the Clinton Library, from what I’ve read. Following threads and connecting dots is what FBI does. They are first and foremost investigators.
I think the entire prog following is going to be left with indisputable proof they were lied to, scammed and played by their own. The media can lead, follow or get out of the way, because in this new awakening world they are going to find themselves outside, looking in.

Shortly after JFK was killed, Harry Truman who created the CIA , said that it was time to limit it to intel collection and no special ops.
HST founded the CIA, and he realized his creation had become something he didn’t want and became what/why he ended the OSS after WWII was over.
