So today we find out that the Russian hackers that sent the info to Wikileaks got Podesta’s email credentials when he replied to a a phishing email to reset his Google account. What I don’t understand about this is, if the Russians were trying to influence the 2016 election why did they also send scads of these phishing scam emails to me and several of the people I know that don’t have anything to do with politics? It would make more sense for the Russians to use a spear phishing attack against Democratic or DNC officials that would have a good probability of emailing something scandalous. The whole story makes no sense!

Turns out it was all the fault of Hillary's IT Helpdesk pajama boy, Charles Delavan.

Delavan was consulted about the phishing email, and he replied that it was legitimate.
